Whale Watching In Oslob, Cebu

Summer get-away is one of the many activities family and friends do when the climate is sunny and friendly to fun loving people. The good weather makes it conducive to do certain activities. One can enjoy the beach, mountain resort adventures, hiking and trekking, go places,   etc etc…. So,   me and my group of   friends decided to take   a road trip south of Cebu and get that awesome experience of watching and/or swimming with the famous Whale Sharks   or the Gentle Giants of Oslob. Locally they called them “Butanding” or “Tuki”. Our group getting ready with our life vests   From Cebu City we hired a private van and started our road trip late in the afternoon on one summer day. After 2 hours drive, we arrived at our destination and check-in in one of the hotels in Oslob, Cebu. We stayed at Lagnason’s Place, it’s a small seaside resort in Barangay Lagunde. We stayed overnight and early the next day we have to rise early for the whale watchin...

Misamis Oriental – Bukidnon - Davao Road Trip Every year our high school batch will organize an annual reunion either a homecoming party   or a roadtrip or a group tour. Our favorite is the combination of both.   So one summer   our group decided to go on a 3-day group tour to Mindanao specifically Cagayan de Oro City and Davao City, where some of our high school classmates presently resides. Day 1 We arrive in Cagayan de Oro City, known as the” City of Golden Friendship” at about 6:00 AM Saturday (we came from Tagbilaran City, Bohol) via   Trans Asia Shipping Lines, its just an overnight sea travel, we left Bohol at 7:00 PM Friday night, we were met by our hired private van,   we check in at our downtown budget hotel,   freshen   up and ate our breakfast.   Without wasting our time we started our first list on our itinerary which is the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental.     Divine Mercy Shrine...

Road trip to Jardin Necitas, Pilar, Bohol

Image
Me and my friends decided to go on a road trip  one  weekend afternoon  to see the newest addition to Bohol’s tourist attractions. The Jardin Necitas  in Barangay Bagumbayan, Pilar, Bohol. It’s a  77 km – 2 hour ride from the capital city of Tagbilaran if you travel by private car. On the way you will pass by the Man-made forest in Bilar – Loboc border.   A 2-km stretch of dense   mahogany trees lining both sides of the road. Once you enter the forest you will be refreshed by the   cool breeze that touches your skin.   Your view of the road and surroundings darkened because of the dense shades of the trees.   This   man-made forest is a favorite stop to many visitors, locals and foreigners alike who would like to have time to stop on the sides of the road and take pictures just like us. man-made forest  posing for the road another pose From Bilar we went straight to Pilar stopping first at the Malinao...
